HVAC Systems for Modules

The HVAC systems within modules (such as laboratories, E-house, pressurized room and offshore work units) are central to ensuring the safety, stability, and compliance of the working environment. Their integrated design adheres to international standards (e.g., ISO 15138, ISO 7547, SOLAS, IEC 60079, etc.), ensuring efficient operation under extreme climates, marine corrosion, and transportation vibrations.

Major system equipment includes:

1. Cooling Unit: Utilizes direct expansion air-cooled air conditioners or other configurations based on local temperature/humidity conditions and explosion- proof classification zones. Features multi-stage capacity regulation to accommodate load fluctuations.

2. Heating Unit: Incorporates electric heating or heat pump systems to meet project requirements in low-temperature regions.

3. Air Handling Unit (AHU): Incorporates built-in centrifugal fans (explosion-proof fans certified to IECEx, ATEX, etc.), corrosion-resistant high-efficiency heat   exchangers, and humidification/dehumidification devices for flexible control of temperature and humidity.

4. Filtration System: Features primary and medium-efficiency filtration, meeting ISO 16890, EN 779, and other international standards.

5. Control System: Integrated PLC controller supporting protocols like Modbus enables remote monitoring, fault diagnosis, and multiple functions.

6. Corrosion Protection Design: Heat exchange components utilize copper tube/aluminum fin or copper tube/copper fin configurations coated with marine-grade anti-corrosion paint, compliant with ISO 12944 C5 or CX standards.

7. Dampers: Utilizes internationally renowned brands for air system dampers, meeting SOLAS, ISO, and other standards.

Application Areas Include:

   • FPSOs and Offshore Platforms: Explosion-proof HVAC (compliant with ATEX/IECEx directives) ensures safe ventilation in oil and gas processing zones; salt spray corrosion-resistant design adapts to high-humidity, high-salinity environments.

   • Electrical Equipment Rooms: Variable frequency refrigeration addresses high-density heat dissipation.
